Online Preneeding of the Direct Cremation Plan

Cremation is gaining popularity in the United States, especially in Florida. Almost 70% of all end of life arrangements in Florida are now cremations.  Griffith-Cline has worked with Funeral Services, Incorporated, our Preneed Trust provider, to offer our client families the ability to preneed our all-inclusive direct cremation package from the comfort of their own home, anywhere in the world, using the internet.

Direct cremation is the simplest and most affordable of all of our cremation packages.  Our Direct Cremation Plan includes:

  1. Basic Services of the Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead,
  2. Transfer of deceased from place of death to our funeral home,
  3. Refrigeration (required by Florida law),
  4. Staff/Errand Vehicle,
  5. Preparation of Death Certificate,
  6. Placement of obituary in local newspaper,
  7. Cardboard Alternative Container,
  8. Cremation fee (on premise crematory),
  9. Return of cremated remains in a Temporary Cardboard Container
Total All-Inclusive Price:  $895.00


PLEASE NOTE:

The above quoted price does not include the current charge of $35 assessed by the Manatee County Health Department to review medical records of the deceased and provide cremation authorization.  All counties contiguous to Manatee county have a cremation authorization fee.  Such fees are not a Griffith-Cline charge, rather, a fee assessed by the county to authorize cremation and are therefore not included in our pricing structure. The current and appropriate county fee will be assessed at time of passing as a cash advance item.
