Faye Summers Justice went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2018. Faye was the eighth of ten children born to Charles and Leona Summers in Sunbright, Tennessee on July 27, 1916. Faye gew up in Sunbright, became a beautician and married her handsome dancing partner James Justice in 1937.
Faye was predeceased by her parents, her nine siblings and her husband James Justice. She is survived by her four daughters, Carolyn Phillips (Bob), Jennie Albritton, Minnie King (Tommy), and Jean Justice; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
After moving to Bradenton in 1961, Faye worked in several hair salons in the area while raising her three youngest daughters after James' death. She was an active member of Bayshore Baptist Church and Woodland Community Church. Because she was greatly loved, Faye’s family and friends will miss her very much and will remember her as a strong, adventurous, loving, caring, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Woodland Community Church, 9607 State Road 70 E., Bradenton. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00, and the service will begin at 11:00. Donations can be made to Bradenton Tidewell Hospice or the children's program at Woodland Community Church.
