Frances C. Elmore, 85, entered her heavenly home on April 4, 2018. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her and gave her peace.
Frances was born to the late Frank and Emma Brandhuber, in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 9, 1932.
She was active in her church and taught children through many avenues over many years. She was a crochet artist who used her abilities to minister to people in need, crocheting many comfort shawls and baby blankets throughout her life.
Frances was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her best friend and high school sweetheart, Charles J. Elmore, on October 12th, 1952 in Bradenton, Florida. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospels.
She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Creator.
Frances is survived by her husband, Charlie; their children Carol (Glenn) Gore, Jim (Peggy) Elmore, Cindy (Larry) Spencer, and Tim (Radawn) Elmore; their many beloved grandchildren and great-granchildren; and her sister, Katherine (Donald) Routh.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Bradenton at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 8th, with a celebration of life service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home.
