Fred leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father and grandfather. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, and for the lessons learned and all the jokes we shared. Fred was very proud of his Navy service and his loyalty to his country. This is a value he instilled in all of his children as well. Fred loved his boats, all of them and was proud of being a Commodore at the Winthrop Yacht Club and a President of the Commodores Club of America. He was also a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks, the Bradenton American Legion and the Bradenton Moose. Fred set an exemplary example as a husband, father and grandfather. He was spiritually strong, compassionate with a clever sense of humor. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends. We will miss him more than words can express. We love you. Be at peace.
P.S. We hope you're enjoying that beer with Charlie!
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 2:00pm at the Griffith-Cline Funeral Home in Bradenton, FL. A Memorial Service will also be held in Winthrop, MA at a later date to be announced.
