Jay Aaron Bopp, 60, of Bradenton, Florida, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018. He was a veteran of the Air Force and a Master Auto and Truck Mechanic. Jay attended Dundalk Community College and graduated from Christian Retreat Ministerial School in 2010. He loved the Lord, his children and grandchildren.
Jay is survived by his 5 children, Danielle, Noel, Erin, Felicia and Casey Bopp. There are 7 grandchildren, brother, James Robert Bopp (Bob) and his wife Linda Harris Bopp, his loving mother, E. Jane Bopp Wiscott as well as a host of loving, extended family and friends.
Predeceasing Jay, are his sister, Andrea Bopp Jones, his father, James A. Bopp, Jr. and his stepfather, Fred Wiscott.
Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery with a brief military ceremony. The time and date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Memorial Fund in Jay Aaron Bopp’s memory at Christian Retreat to benefit the Ministerial School.
