Terry Lee Deemer, 66, of Bradenton, FL, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2019.
Terry was born November 12, 1952 in Huntington, IN to Richard E. Deemer Sr. and Helen Joan
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Sue Deemer; daughters Katie Ann Deemer of
Pinellas Park, FL; Jodi Marie (Derek) Draper of Ellenton, FL; and son Matthew Timothy Deemer
of Bradenton, FL; granddaughters Chloe Alyssa Draper, Sophie Annmarie Draper and Rylie Sue Deemer.
Terry was preceded in death by his father Richard E. Deemer Sr. and his brother Richard E.
(Donna) Deemer Jr. He is survived by his mother Helen Joan Deemer; brothers Tom (Janet)
Deemer, Tim (Kathy) Deemer; and sisters Lynette (Elmer) Rimer, Tricia (Michael) Hostetler, and
many nieces and nephews.
Terry was born in Indiana, but moved to Battle Creek, MI with his family as a child, then to
Bradenton, FL in 1975 with his wife Donna.
Terry worked for King's Wholesale Flowers Co for the past 33 years. He began as a driver, but
soon elevated himself to hold the position of comptroller/operations manager.
Terry enjoyed spending time with Donna and especially cherished family time and his
granddaughters. He also enjoyed electronics/gadgets, collected one hand opening knives and
was a fan of Formula 1 racing.
Service will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home at 720 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205
on Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Chapel at 6:00pm, with light refreshments in the Stateroom
afterward for the family to receive guests.
Terry would have appreciated donations to the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital being made in his name.
