Anne grew up in Flushing, New York, the only child of Willis and Anne Owens. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in College Point and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in French at The College of New Rochelle.
After college Anne was employed as an administrative assistant at Readers’ Digest, working in the department that publishes the French language edition of the magazine. She retired from the Digest in 1989.
Anne enjoyed travel and was active in the activities of her parish, St. Andrew Avellino, in Flushing. In 2015 she left her lifetime Queens County home and moved to Westminster Point Pleasant, a continuing care facility in Bradenton, Florida.
