Betty Lou Huth, aged 84, entered into the presence of the Lord on November 16, 2020.
Betty Lou was born on October 17,1936 to the late J. Hartley and Betty Blackburn.
Betty Lou grew up on Anna Maria Island, graduated from Manatee High School before attending Florida Southern University. During these years, Betty Lou skied for Cypress Gardens.
In 1956, she married the love of her life, John Huth. They were faithfully married for 64 years.
Betty Lou was a devout and faithful believer in Jesus Christ. She and John were members of the First Baptist Church Bradenton.
For her entire life, Betty Lou loved any and every family activity associated with being on the Gulf or the Manatee River.
Betty Lou was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Anna Maria Flath.
John and Betty Lou were blessed with three children - Anna Maria, Gina and Christiaan. Betty Lou is survived by her husband, John; daughter Gina and her husband,Tom, of Tyler, Texas; her son Christiaan and his wife, Yvonne, of Bradenton; and five grandchildren: Grace Ramey Cryer, Laura Ramey, Alexandra Flath, Hartley Flath and Chloe Huth; and a great grandchild, Cordie Cryer. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Blackburn, and many cousins.
